  Sicily has several school programs available to help teachers incorporate health, cooking and culture into their classrooms:

• Agricultural vs Industrial Society: Teaches the differences between a typical agricultural society and an industrial society.  Differences in the  children's responsibilities, the roles of each member of the household and how each contribute to the community in which they are located in, whether being an Amish community or a faced-paced metropolitian city.  Sicily's expert experience in Home Economics, Textiles, Nursing and Agricultural areas enhances the 45-minute classroom presentation.

• Amish Cooking with Sicily Yoder: Teaches basic cooking information whle incorporating  Amish history and culture.  Optimal health, the food groups and importance of eating a proper diet are discussed.  A healthy recipe is also presented for the students to taste and recipe cards are handed out, as well as healthy eating and lifestyle tips. 

    Each program is 45-minutes long and uses visual aids to enhance the students' learning.  The honorarium is below:

•  Honorarium is $400 per day for 5-6 45-minute presentations, and includes Sicily's "Question & Answer" tests.
• Honorarium is $75.00 for a single 45-minute presentation and includes Sicily's "Question & Answer" tests.
• Mileage is included in the above prices.  Cookbook and Amish Diversity books are 50% off cover price for classroom orders.
